Men's Ministry
Purpose
The Men’s Ministry endeavors to provide opportunities for creating and developing meaningful relationships between men and with God. We want to help the men of Grace meet their spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs.
Current and Upcoming Events
End of Summer Picnic. Join us at 4:00pm on September 19th for a "guys only" picnic at the Campbell's house. We are looking forward to good food, fun yard games and great fellowship. Sign-ups begin September 6th.
Men at the Cross. This life changing men's conference is being held at the State Farm Show building in Harrisburg on Friday September 11th and Saturday September 12th. A number of great speakers and a concert by Michael W. Smith are scheduled for this event. Please see Denny Jeffries or visit www.menatthecross.org for more information.
Wednesday Night Men's Study. Join us on Wednesday nights this fall as Pastor Al teaches a study for men. More details will be available later this summer.
Prayer and Fellowship Opportunities
Brothers of Aaron and Hur prayer ministry meets every Thursday morning at 6:15 AM. The purpose of this group is to come alongside of the pastors and pray for their ministries as well as various needs and opportunities in the church. At 7:00 AM those who do not have to rush off to work will usually meet at George’s Restaurant for a quick breakfast together.
Men’s Winter Open Gym. Men and young adults (21 and over) are invited to the Family Life Center from 7:00 to 9:00 PM for a time of fun and fellowship. (January—April)
Men’s Softball Team. Men play in a local church league. The season runs from April through June.
Breakfast and workshop events are held several times throughout the year.
