Bible Lesson
This week we will continue to learn about The Easter Story, our focus being that we celebrate Easter because "Jesus is Alive". John 20:1-18
When we return after Easter Vacation, our Bible lesson will focus on "God is always with me".

Weekly Academic Lessons
*We will continue to talk about the Spring season and the changes that take place during Spring.
When we return on April 20, we will begin a lesson on butterflies starting with the catterpillar.
**Please be sure to send jackets to school the week of April 20 as we are planning a nature walk around the Church grounds to look for signs of Spring.

*Prewriting: Our class is doing a wonderful job with their simple line tracers. We will continue to do these each week.

*Name recognition: We are continuing weekly activities to help students recognize his/her first name. I have seen nice progress with our class name recognition activities. Please continue to work with your child at home to recognize his/her first name.

Color Lesson: review all colors:
                     red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, black, white, purple and pink.

Shape Lesson: *review diamond, circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star, oval and heart.

Counting lesson:   5 little Easter eggs
